Bruce Beckner is a litigation partner, representing clients in disputes relating to competition, transactional and regulatory issues. In addition,
Mr. Beckner advises clients on antitrust issues and assists them in securing Hart-Scott-Rodino Act approvals from the Federal Trade Commission and the United States Department of Justice.
Mr. Beckner's communications practice focuses on representing cable television companies before both the Federal Communications Commission and local franchising authorities, including judicial review of those agencies' decisions and regulations.
Mr. Beckner has tried cases before arbitration panels, and in both state and federal courts. He has argued appeals before most of the U.S. Courts of Appeal and several state appellate courts. Mr. Beckner has served as an editor of and writer for "Litigation," the official journal of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Beckner is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
