Since joining Fleischman and Harding in 1995, partner Craig Gilley has been practicing communications law with an emphasis on the cable television industry. Mr. Gilley has successfully represented various clients before the FCC, other regulatory bodies, and state and federal courts. His primary focus encompasses a broad array of topics, including regulation of cable operators and programmers, franchising of cable and telecommunications providers, access to poles, conduits and easements, fair competition and pricing disputes, program and leased access disputes, VoIP and cable modem Internet access regulatory issues, trademark and copyright issues, negotiation of retransmission consent, network affiliation and programming content rights, must-carry and retransmission consent disputes and MDU internal wiring disputes.
A member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, Mr. Gilley has a secondary specialty representing various small and midsize wireless broadband and telecommunications carriers before federal and state regulatory agencies.
Mr. Gilley is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
