Rebecca Jacobs is an associate in the firm's Litigation and Cable Television groups. Ms. Jacobs' practice focuses on various regulatory and litigation related issues within the communications field. She advises clients on disputes before the Federal Communications Commission and before both federal and state courts. Since joining Fleischman & Harding, Ms. Jacobs has worked on a wide-range of issues, including FCC cable and broadcast ownership regulations, petitions for effective competition, cable merger proceedings, franchising of cable providers, and disputes before local franchising authorities. While in law school, Ms. Jacobs served as an extern for the Honorable Susan J. Dlott, United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Ms. Jacobs is the author of a comment published in the Pacific Rim Law and Policy Journal, where she served as Executive Comments Editor from 2004-2005.
Ms. Jacobs is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Washington State.
