Matthew S. Schwartz is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Cable Television groups, where his practice focuses on various regulatory and litigation related issues within the communications field. Since joining Fleischman & Harding, Mr. Schwartz has worked on a wide range of matters, including cable and broadcast ownership regulations, the digital television transition, and must-carry/retransmission consent.
During law school, Mr. Schwartz served as a summer clerk for the Hon. Alice M. Batchelder on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
He received a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan, where he was editor-in-chief of the Michigan Review.
Mr. Schwartz is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the State of Michigan, and is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association
